Best Winter Fly Fishing Gloves: Frozen Fingers
Posted by flydog1213 on Saturday, January 20 @ 05:45:22 PST
I went fishing a couple of weeks ago and didn't bring fingerless gloves. I brought one pair of cheap stretchy gloves.....wrong choice. I had to give up after about 45 minutes because of my wet frozen fingers. Any other suggestions if fingerless gloves dont do the trick?

In the past I used fleece glovea and they worked until they got wet and they always would get wet. I will carry gloves with me and only put them on when I need to. It is tough to keep them dry when your in the river and as you know they do no good when they are wet. |

I have seen (but never tried) neoprene gloves (like a wetsuit). Can't remember if they were fingerless or not. Has anyone tried these? Will they work better since they can't become soaked with water? Or do they just let the water freeze on the outside and become just as miserable? |
