Fly Tying Environment: Smokey Flies
Posted by jstroke on Wednesday, January 24 @ 06:39:25 PST
I was just wandering what the thoughts are on tying and smoking? I just walked into the tying room and really noticed the smokey smell for the first time(imagine that) is it ridiculous to think that it doesnt bother the fish when using these home made flies? Or do you think that the fish might not detect the smell?

If the smoke turns them on or off I have know idea. They might think that it is a piece of smoked salmon:). But, I don't use drying cement on my steelhead flies because of the smell. good post. |
