Spring Fly Fishing: Waiting For The Thaw
Posted by luke on Monday, February 26 @ 08:26:20 PST
With spring right around the corner I have been thinking about where I will begin the new season. Alot of us in the Northeast have been frozen in for the last couple months and fly fishing has not been an option. The spring thaw will open more water and the fish will be hungry as the water starts to warm. What species will you be targeting on your next spring outing?

Re: Spring Fly Fishing: Waiting For The Thaw by Luke on Wednesday, February 28 @ 08:25:41 PST | | I definitely can see fists full of steel in my future. I am also itching to have a long battle with a big Tarpon. Although I know it will be humbling. I'd also like to catch a fresh king this fall if I can avoid the elbow to elbow action which I dispise. I hope to also make it out to colorado to fish for some Rainbows and Browns. Something about blue ribbon water makes me feel all tingly inside. Cheers to the new opportunities that come with the spring thaw. Tight lines to all in 2007. |
