Tips, Ties And Tactics Fly Fishing Blues: Richmond Virginia
Posted by shanechild on Sunday, March 04 @ 12:38:12 PST

Well, it looks like with everything on lock down in the Northeast, I may not be making the trip to steelhead country that I was anxiously anticipating. I've been watching the weather channel and there aren't any major warm-ups expected between now and my vacation next week. That being said, I'm looking for anywhere that has some open water and a good trout fishing report. I'm currently in the Richmond, VA area and I'm willing to do some driving to get to good trout water if the fishing report looks good. I've heard some people suggest the Elk River in WV. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendation. I had my heart set on catching some chrome, but it looks like the weather just isn't going to cooperate!
