 High Water Streamer Tactics: Finding Fish In The Spring Runoff

The snow is mealting fast in the fish are starting to feed. Streamer fishing in the spring is a popular method to entice hungry fish to bite. There are many methods to fish these bait like patterns; swinging, dead drifting, stripping down stream and retriving against the current. What do you find to be the most effective in the Spring?

by joey on Tuesday, April 10 @ 10:47:25 PDT | | I have had good luck with streamers on sinking line. Especially early in the spring when the water is still cold. Once the fish start chasing bait fish stripping a pattern down stream will turn a fish on. |
