Skin Protection: Save Your Life

Everyone loves the sun and after being in under grey skies for half the year (as anyone in the northeast can attest) it is nice to see that big ball of fire. But as nice as it is, the UV rays from the sun can be extremely hazardous. I have learned this the hard way, having some bad cells removed. So I take every precaution I can when I am outside. Always put spf 30 or better on my face and ears. Try to wear long sleeved clothes and a hat or visor. Reapplying the sunscreen as often as you feel necessary is also good practice. The sun can be a killer so keep covered up, especially on the water.
