I have had very few hook ups and even fewer landed fish. Any tips for fly selection, size and color would greatly be appreciated. The comments are owned by the poster. I would imagine that they are the same as any trout though. I would try caddis Nymphs, Copper Johns, Phesant Tails, Hares ears....etc. Check out what is hiding underneith the rocks, a lot of times that will give you the clues on what bugs are in the river and what sizes. Also an olive beadheaded wooly bugger and brown wooly buggers with a little flash on them seem to be the trick for me. Hope this helps.
