Tattered Flies: Use The Hooks to Tie Your Own

We all go through flies like a Kid goes through Crayons and we all know how pricey this can get. They get caught in trees, broken off and just start to fall apart. When my flies have made it through hell and back (fish mouths, slimy rocks, and fallen trees) I retire them to my vest. Instead of tossing them when I clean out my gear I will put them in a container and reuse them to tie my own flies. I am not a great tier, and when I do spin I do it small doses. Using my old flies for the hooks allows me to re-create an old warrior that has seen it all.
