Wader Boot Insulation: Warmest Waders For Winter
Posted by clip on Saturday, October 06 @ 07:25:55 PDT
I'm looking at new waders for winter steelheading and duck hunting here lower Michigan, but I'm wondering what 1200 grams or 2000 grams of thinsulate really means. Can anyone help clear this up for me.

I couldn't tell you what 1200 or 2000 grams of thinsulate means. But I can tell you how I roll when fishing in the winter. I continue to wear my breathable waders and just layer up with poly and fleece undernieth. This keeps me plenty warm especially if I am moving up and down the river. I also like the mobility of breathable waders. Just my opinion. Good luck |
